This is a fun, if small, park. There is a very nice playground, picnic pavilions, tennis courts, and a baseball diamond. Paved trails meander throughout all of these, making it easy to log your steps. The trails link to the Nickel Plate section of the MCT Trail system.
I visited here specifically to walk the AllTrails Miner Park Loop and found a decent paved trail around athletic fields to start with then over a creek to an area with a playground and other amenities, such as a pickle ball courts (at least I think they're pickle ball and not tennis - not an athletic bone in my body).
Great park, there's 2 different play areas for children of different ages, but they're on the same plot so if you've got Littles and Big Kids everyone gets to play. Has nice paved trails to walk, a park for even the youngest kids, a dog park, tennis courts, and even a MERRY GO ROUND.
Love the hills at this park. There are nice trails linked to this park; neat playground, although the wood is splitting on some parts. Has basketball hoops on the lot and a fenced in tennis court. It's in a calm neighborhood, right behind Glen Carbon's Centennial Library.
