What runners say about Minneola Trailhead Bike Park
Came for the mountain bike trail and was disappointed. It's a very short trail with debris all over the place. It's not marked, so there is no safe way to ride without risking running into someone else. It is a very easy course, but the debris could be a problem for beginners.
It's a great little park. Kids playground area, exercise area, trail head access, large ball diamond, skateboard park and restrooms. Plus 2 dog Exercise areas. One large and one small. Today's special event was the one year anniversary of the Yuck skateboard shop. It Is located nearby on highway 27.
Best and only official mountain bike trail within a 45-minute drive! Plenty of terrain/gradient for downhill speeding, plus challenging technical riding through the trees. Completely shaded, and just north off of the South Lake Apopka Trail (aka, West Orange Trail).
I love this park. It is a great trail and has a lot for the whole family!
