Confirmed from Minnesota Valley State Trail (Wilke Unit)'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature preserve offering kid-friendly hikes, mountain biking, and river access.
What runners say about Minnesota Valley State Trail (Wilke Unit)
“Still some beautiful views and quality time spent.”
Phenomenal hiking and sightseeing! Fabulous and very interesting trail on Bloomington side of river that currently ends at Nine Mile Creek when leaving from Bloomington Ferry Bridge.
Can't get enough of these winding multi use trails and awesome nature views! Even found some Chicken of the Woods on our last hike! Check it out if you haven't done so already.
I seen three massive wolves run past us on may 20th 2020 at roughly 6:20pm (no joke) location was 44.798611,-93.387500 1 mile under the bridge along the rivers where the trees are spaced apart nicely & easy for them to run through.
Here's the deal with the River Bottoms trail from this side - when the snow conditions are good, it is simply perfect peaceful winter solitude on a fatbike. Owls, deer, the river, occasional other riders or walkers. The little bridges, the streams, all of it. It's like spiritual.
