Confirmed from Mira Vista Field's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Mira Vista Field
“Fun neighborhood place for the dogs to run around with great views.”
“Great community, it's usually empty but everyday before sunset dozens of dogs and people are there walking and talking.”
This is a great park to walk & take your dog. Locals maintain the park along with the school district. 12/7/24- field work days today and Sunday. Great group today spreading wood chips along the walking paths in preparation for more rain in the future.4/7/25- love this field for getting my dose of vitamin K9.
Great community, it's usually empty but everyday before sunset dozens of dogs and people are there walking and talking. Can see views of the bay all the way to the golden gate
Massive field with great views. Perfect place to take the dogs for a walk off-leash.
Great peaceful field. Great for dogs who want to run. Great views of Marin

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadwater — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
