Confirmed from Miramar Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Miramar Park
“It is a really clean and well-kept area that feels very safe and welcoming for everyone.”
“Visiting this spot was such a peaceful experience because the views of the ocean are absolutely stunning.”
“Also dogs are allowed in the park but dogs aren’t allowed on sand of beach so I can sit with my dog after a walk, those bathrooms on the beach are nice to be close to as well”
One of the more quiet beaches in the socal area. This has free parking for disabled placards M-F otherwise 6 on weekends. Multiple paths to go down even for wheelchair access. Plenty of room for parking and even some street parking if you are early.
Very nice, lots of places to walk with great views. Stairs or ramps to the beach. Short term parking, if available $2 hour or all day $7. We noticed a few dolphins just off the beach.
One of my favorite parks to visit by the ocean with terrific views. There’s usually a lot of friendly people and dogs. Fluffy grass too spread out a towel for a picnic. There is restrooms and plenty of parking you can go on a long walk around the park. There is beach access from stairs and a ramp.
These pics are views from park. It’s clean and maintained nicely. I like that it’s a great option to be almost “at the beach” but not have to go down on the sand.
