Confirmed from Mishawaka Res' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Mishawaka Res
“This place is gorgeous no matter the time of year, and I highly recommend checking it out after a fresh snow!”
“Nice quiet place to explore with short hikes through the woods and bridges over the creek.”
Lived in this area my whole life and never been here. I love it. The trails, the river. Relaxing.
Serene, clean place to walk and enjoy nature. Facilities are also available to rent for parties and youth groups. So glad a place like this has existed for so many decades in the community and is being taken care of.
This is such a beautiful place to go for a walk. It is open to the public, and leashed dogs are welcome. There is a network of trails through the forest, a lovely little creek that winds through the property, and many places to sit and enjoy nature.
The Res has been A fixture in Mishawaka For well over 50 years. It is open to the public. Take your dog and your kids and enjoy some nature on the beautiful trails. Facilities are available for your group camping, or 44 your family event. We had my daughter's rehearsal dinner in the Jernegan Lodge 10 years ago.
