Confirmed from Mississippi Walking Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Riverside green space featuring a paved path and dirt trails, popular for walking and dog-walking.

“the rustic bridge over the river is so so picturesque and my fave place to take a detour through while on my runs :)”
Nice place in NE to casually walk or go for a run. Good amount of people are out walking, but never enough to crowd the walk ways!
This is one of my favorite spots in Minneapolis. It's nice and quiet in the mornings and the trail is well maintained and easy to walk. There are plenty of places to start/stop so you can be on it for as little or as long as you want. Nice views of the river too.
Nice escape into nature in the middle of downtown. We explored about 30 minutes of the trail but I’m sure there’s more. Splendid views of Mississippi River against Hennepin Ave bridge and also part of the skyline.
Beautiful trail close to downtown that is very clean and green! Great trails and feels safe. Good spot to meet a friend or walk your dog!
