Confirmed from Missouri River Natural Area and Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Riverside space with walking and biking trails through trees and grasslands, plus views.
What runners say about Missouri River Natural Area and Trailhead
“The views are beautiful, the banks are steep, and there is plenty of room to explore and a lot of beauty to appreciate.”
“Great place to let your pup run around and enjoy the scenery.”
“Path is often covered by a canopy of tree branches (high enough to be out of the way).”
Fun area to explore. There is not a paved trail to follow along, which makes it all the more better, as you have to keep your footing and go through grass and trees on a worn out walkway. The views are beautiful, the banks are steep, and there is plenty of room to explore and a lot of beauty to appreciate.
This is the perfect environment for really everyone 3 well divided paths to choose from take the dogs let them run take your mountain bike the dirt trails are smooth the scenery is awesome. It seems like you rarely bump into people walking the same trail
Nice trail system along the river. It's too bad it's situated right between the river and the highway, it doesn't feel like much of a nature walk with the constant rumbling of cars and semis going by
Great place to walk the dogs along the river. First place I've been while staying here that I'm able to walk them during tick season without getting any ticks. Nice view and fairly wide trail at most places.
