Confirmed from Mohegan Park - Memorial Rose Garden's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lakeside park featuring basketball courts and rose gardens (the latter often with blooms).
What runners say about Mohegan Park - Memorial Rose Garden
“To my surprise, a beautiful bright rainbow came out when I was there it was such a beautiful reminder to me personally that God was with me in this time.”
“This place is peaceful and beautiful we go all summer long!”
I visited in early June. The roses were starting to bloom 🌹. Peaceful setting with a picnic area🧺. The garden is a part of the larger Mohegan 🏞️. Which also includes trails, a beach, and a playground 🛝 .
Looking for a place to photograph flowers and enjoyed by my time walking among the different varieties of beautiful flowers. The grounds are kept in very good condition with benches inside and outside to sit and enjoy the flowers. Parking can accommodate a few cars.
I'm not originally from Connecticut. Beautiful park to visit..lots of recreationalthings to do. Has workout points along main trail. .
