Had great access for public parking. The trail leading to the over look does have a lot of rocks on it which could be a trip hazard but I had no issues getting to the overlook which was breathtaking.
Very cool! This was my first time here and I loved starting off by climbing the rocks to get to the trail. The overlook was beautiful. I look forward to coming back in Fall or Spring!
Great day hike. Lots of small animals during spring and summer. Better views during the Fall season! Great place to learn the outdoors. Great family spot but NO benches. Just rocks to sit on ,heads up. And the Graffiti is out of Control, Needs some regulations or cleaning. Something! There are 2 parking lots.
We hiked the Overlook and part of the Cockscomb trails with our leashed dog. Both trails were rocky and the Yellow Overlook trail is marked with white blazes on trees. As others have mentioned, the overlook trail hike is marred by the graffitied cliffs and rocks at the summit.
