Confirmed from Monkey Run, Cayuga Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Monkey Run, Cayuga Trail
“Nearby Monkey Run is the beautiful Cayuga trail leading to the spectacular Cliffs of Varna.”
Very nice, well marked trail that that runs along side Fall Creek. The trail is more peaceful the further you get away from the roads. Nice little access trails that get you down close to the water. Several trails to explore, so you can have a different walk almost every time you visit.
Nearby Monkey Run is the beautiful Cayuga trail leading to the spectacular Cliffs of Varna. Just off Freese Rd., the trail is mostly undiscovered so not usually crowded.
This place is amazing it's got everything. Water, trails, hikes, stairs.. great place to spend an afternoon.
