Confirmed from Monroe Bicentennial Commons' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great park for walks, the loop is one mile. Great covered playground for small kids. Restrooms are now open. Still has the old picnic shelters. Very clean park.

So much potential on the old lesourdsville lake grounds. GREAT play area for the kids, decent shelters for picnics. But the walking trail leaves much to be desired. When I was there recently 6/8/23 it was only 1/3 paved the rest was just a gravel road. There are better places to walk/jog/run.

★★★★☆ — Matt , Jun 2023

It seems like an amusement park Years ago. I would have liked to see it. It looked amazing. Now it is a children's park. It has a lot of space to walk. It is very quiet and I loved the fact that it was covered because you can be there even if it rains and there are not many places that offer this.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
