Confirmed from Tierra Rejada Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Playground with swings, courts and picnic spots at a clean park.
What runners say about Tierra Rejada Park
“Nice tranquil little park, feels like taking a walk around, ounce you're there, clean restrooms, the only problem , the automatic air hand dryer was not working.”
The place is great to walk with family and a dog. Rocket park has fun places to climb around. On the walking path, there is a pull up exercising equipment. Tennis and basketball is there too. Lots of grass area and a nice looking gazebo!
Our family loves this park, we live nearby so we probably have been here at least 100 times over the last 3 years. Great playground, wide open spaces, bathrooms on site, there's not much to complain about, it's a great park.
I used to do long bike rides to Santa Barbara past this park years ago when they were building it. I thought, "Who would want to live here?" As the years went by and some housing went up and the trees in the park grew, I started thinking, " This would be a pretty nice place to live.
Beautiful, very well kept park. Lots of jungle gym equipment for kids, plenty of lush greenery, walking trails, plenty of sitting/resting areas, one of the areas includes a sandpit for kids. It's too bad we don't live closer to this park because we'd visit it more often if we did.
Trail conditions & character
“Nice tranquil little park, feels like taking a walk around, ounce you're there, clean restrooms, the only problem , the automatic air hand dryer was not working.”
“I would say that compared to the other parks we have it's not nearly as family friendly, or as dog friendly as the others because of the size.”
