Confirmed from Montrose Riverway Trail North Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Montrose Riverway Trail North Trailhead
“Still a nice place to walk, there are buildings on one side but the river is gorgeous.”
So the address doesn’t seem correct. The trail and river are behind the Colorado Outdoors development. There is a gravel parking lot and access at N9th St and Mayfly Dr., there is also access with 2 HC parking spots at 1227 Mayfly Dr between the buildings next to the Secret Creek Building.
This is a beautiful walk along the river. It’s about an 8 foot wide concrete trail for bikers and pedestrians. Lots of friendly dogs.
