Confirmed from Moore Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Moore Lake Park
“It is a safe and clean place that is frequent by diverse groups of people, in fact this is most diverse playground that we know.”
“It’s beautiful place and there’s parking lot and water play and very clean .”
This is one of our favorite playgrounds. It’s fairly new and kids love coming here to play on slides and zip line. We walk the walking path while they play. It is a safe and clean place that is frequent by diverse groups of people, in fact this is most diverse playground that we know.
Moore Lake Park is a nice spot to enjoy the outdoors. There’s a walking trail, tennis courts, a playground for the kids, a grilling area, and even water access for fishing. Which I really love. The only downside is the bird and goose droppings along the walking paths, which can be a bit off-putting.
Newly renovated building, nice playground, basketball and volleyball courts. There are pinic areas and paved walkways. Swimming and fishing are welcome.
Very nice park! Sand & water was nice, kids loved it. Huge playground & paths to walk or ride yr bike. Large covered area to sit or eat w/bathrooms. Areas to grill also. Very nice compared to 10+ years ago. The ice cream man even stopped which was a plus for all the kids!
Trail conditions & character
“The parking lot is spacious, we have to drive to this park as it is not in our neighborhood and we always are able to find free parking spots.”
“Good spot to take the family for a few hours to relax/have a picnic/enjoy the nice views of the water from the beach area.”
“There are meeting facilities in this park with clean modern bathrooms, not just portable toilets.”
