Confirmed from Moreno Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a playground and picnic tables, plus facilities for basketball.
What runners say about Moreno Park
Great little park / open area, not A LOT to do but fantastic for a nice huge loop walk, nice fresh grass would be great for lunch and or picnics. Weekends good spot to bring the kids to play ball or frisbee and other games similar, didn't see any restrooms to he believe.
This is a nice park to walk with family, it has some very, very small amount of excercise equipment. Balance beam, chin up/pull up bar. Playground for the kids and a basketball court. Semi quiet neighborhood, and a baseball field.
This is a nice park that is pretty well maintained. The benches need recoating, the old coating is peeling off. A water fountain would be nice for all the dogs and people staying active at the park. We enjoy taking the entire family here. Even grandma enjoys the wide sidewalk circling the park.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
