Confirmed from Morgan County North Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed park maintained by the county featuring multiple ball fields, a playground, picnic tables and concessions, plus soccer fields.
What runners say about Morgan County North Park
“) The bathrooms are clean and don't look like anything from a horror movie.”
“) The set up is good for those who bring their own shade.”
North Park has exceptional facilities for sports activities and recreation; especially in a rural area. Maintained by the Morgan County Parks & Recreation Dept. Premises include a total of five ⚾baseball/softball fields, ⚽ two soccer fields, playground, pavillions, garden, restrooms, etc.
2026.02.15 06:59 - Morgan County North Park and Boat Launch (Garth Slough) Loop Nice cool low 50°s_F, ~06:45 Abby and i arrived and parked at Morgan County North Park. During our ~5 mile Loop, only saw 1 MTBiker, and 1 Walking, and 1 vehicle driving on Truck Trail W. North Park was well-maintained and clean.
The grounds are nicely kept. I love the idea the city has for recycling. It was a great location to take a power walk. **side note: bathrooms are not always open.
Nice park but way to long to walk for ederly or people that has problems walking
