Here the Morris County Railroad crossed West Dewey Ave. Hiking north is prohibited but the ROW quickly merges into active rail lines so no bother. That was the Delaware Lackawanna and Western Railroad. It’s a easy hike from here south to Hopatcong Junction where the line joined the Central Railroad of New Jersey.
