Confirmed from Morrison Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular, grassy park offering a pond with a fishing pier, a shaded playground & covered picnic area.
What runners say about Morrison Park
“It's always clean here and everyone seems to mind their own kids and business here.”
“Very beautiful place to go see Ducks, Geese, and Turtles!”
“Lots of shaded places to sit.”
I love this place to go for a walk, read a book, sit on a bench and listen to music. People normally come with their kids because there's a medium sized kids area that the little ones enjoy. It's also fun for family's to feed the ducks, some people know this as the Ducks Pond, Shy Pond.
We live in apartments nearby within walking distance and we go almost daily. The only problem is that bird poop is EVERYWHERE. We have an almost one year old and we wanted somewhere we could let her in the grass but this park isn’t good for that. It’s literally all over the place.
Fun, outdoor park. Public restroom. Shaded Pavillion. Feed the ducks and watch the pond turtles.
