Confirmed from Moshassuck River Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Moshassuck River Preserve
“Well marked trails with beautiful views of the stream.”
“The trails are well marked but you have to stay alert and look for the blazes since it isn’t well traveled and the paths are covered in dense leaves.”
“Easy trails did both yellow and blue and almost blue again because I wasn’t paying attention.”
I had been looking for new trails for myself and my dog and I came across this place. Reading other reviews, I saw that nobody had taken the yellow trail, so I wanted to try it out. I loved the trail and accidentally ended up doing the blue as well. It was just as great but with more inclines/declines.
This is in the middle of Lincoln, suburban area with a mildly marked off trail. It’s not paved, but there are bridges and things over every part of water (even the smaller parts) so you don’t have to get your shoes dirty, but you probably would wanna wear shoes you don’t care about if it rained earlier in the week…
Great easy walk. Some incline and the paths are rocky but easy to travel. Can be muddy after rain, but overall very enjoyable.
Nice walk. The north loop is close to highway, however the stream/river is really lovely so overall it’s worth it.
