Confirmed from Mosquito Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Long established riverside park great for Mississippi panoramas & eagle watching.
What runners say about Mosquito Park
“Was looking for scenic places along the Mississippi River in Burlington Iowa and found this little place.”
Beautiful park with a great view of the Mississippi river. This is a very small park very close to people houses. You can mostly just take pictures, sit on the benches and enjoy the view at an elevation. Venture down to Burlington harbour to get up close to the water front.
Was looking for scenic places along the Mississippi River in Burlington Iowa and found this little place. I say its worth the stop especially if in downtown Burlington. Has a few benchs and does have a scenic view of the River. The neighborhoods around the area are nice to look at too. Lot of cute and old houses.
Hidden jem on bluff overlooking river. Small but scenic; picknick table and grill and benches
Spectacular views from this mosquito sized park. Not sure if that's where it gets the name but fitting. Not too far off the beaten path to stop by quick for the great view.

“Does not have a lot of parking but for something off the street with a couple of benches and a tower viewer what can one expect?”
