Confirmed from Mound Zion Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Mound Zion Park
“The park is absolutely stunning and a great trail to go on”
Loved finding this park today; wooded with paved and unpaved paths. Beautiful escape.
Nice circular walking path through the woods. The entrance to the park is oddly tucked away in a neighborhood but the park does offer a woodsy experience. Saw a deer and coyote on my last trip.
Great trail. Used to venture back there occasionally as a kid in the 80’s. We would cut through there to camp Journal subdivision. Very spooky if you were by yourself.
I love this park! It has a paved trail as well at a natural trail or 2. The trails are not incredibly long but my dog gets a good walk.
