We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Mount David Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Mount David Trailhead
For experienced mountaineers! Some call Mt. David a short hike or even a walk, but in reality it is more akin to an ascent of Kilimanjaro or K2. Be sure to spend enough time at basecamps 1-4 to acclimatize before the push to the summit. Crampons, ropes, harnesses, snow gear, and ice axes are a non-negotiable!
Please Help keep clean.....Thank you. Love this spot. A great get away, 10 min walk from down town..
