Confirmed from Mount Diablo State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sizable park with a summit visitor center & observation deck, plus trails, campsites & picnic areas.

Great place for a moderate hike. Took about 4 hours round trip. Great to have cell phone coverage throughout for directions and such. Moderate incline and elevation though most of it is gradual around the trail. Look out for animal droppings in the first 2 miles which clears out later on.
Beautiful place to go for the day and hike. Lots of trails to choose from.
Drove up to the summit, windy roads with breathtaking views at the Summit. Lots of bike riders so plan to take your time getting up there, the roads are narrow and no passing allowed unless there are bicycle turnouts. Happy to keep the bicyclists safe! Absolutely worth going.
