Confirmed from Mount Eden Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Community park featuring picnic shelters & a playground, plus baseball, basketball & tennis.
What runners say about Mount Eden Park
“Great maintenance park is aways clean and well maintained”
“Going through some field renovations, beautiful mansion, and nice park”
They have pretty good tennis courts, with a nice shaded picnic area right adjacent to the courts. The bathrooms are decent, although a little run down looking, with flushing toilets and soap. It has a playground and a baseball field as well.
Really nice. Just don't like the fact they put wood on the basket ball hoops so the kids can't play. Bathroom is clean enough. Pretty cool just to hang no problems so far. Has tables and bbqs. Good shade in certain spots. Good for a big bbq
The park has basketball court open for all, playground for family and kids, good for riding bicycles and jogging.
Trail conditions & character
“The parking lot near the bathrooms is blocked off and part of the grass area between the softball & soccer fields.”
