Confirmed from Mount Washington Valley Rec Path Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Mount Washington Valley Rec Path Trailhead
Very enjoyable trail good for walking, jogging, biking, and roller blading. For nature lovers there is a nice scenic lookout to Pudding Pond and a bridge with nice water views.
Paved with little traffic (bikes and walkers). Great views. Lots of parking. Plenty of other trails in Forest nearby used by mountain bikers and hikers for a more challenging walk. This paved one is accessible.
2.9 mile paved path to Cranmore mountain. Lots of parking at this location and Porta potty available.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
