We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Redstone Quarry Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Redstone Quarry Trailhead

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (38 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Super cool trail. Walk through the woods to explore ruins of old buildings and rusty machinery from the days of this being a granite quarry along the railroad. You can make this a shorter walk or a longer one depending where you go. Definitely recommend for a unique walk when in the North Conway area!

Really cool history. Badly marked trail, though. Cross the train tracks and enter woods on a bike trail. Cross the wider trail and continue on bike trail, away from car park. You will stumble upon a large, smooth, granite column that was discarded and there will be the first informative signpost.

Was a lot of fun exploring the old quarry and walking the roads of the ghost town that used to be. Took some good pictures while out, definetly worth the adventure!

★★★★★ — Sean , Jun 2023

Great easy hike that rewards you with numerous old mining relic locations to invite the imagination of "how it all worked". Views are also nice from above locations. Can be enjoyed on foot or bike as there are a number of off-shoot trails.
