We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Mountain Park Ranch Hiking Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“A beautiful scenery and wonderful place to go hiking”

For matters of natural resource security the details of my experience will be noyb. I'm prompted to review this location since its merely a coulpe hundred yards from my living habitat.

★★★★★ — I , Mar 2019

Things can be deceiving. I thought this would be a short trail, mostly used by dog owners. It wasn’t. It was really nice and was actually a good hike.

★★★★★ — Julian , Oct 2019

Nice hidden trailhead that connects to many other south mountain trails. Surprised to see so much vegetation and even tall wild grown palm trees.

★★★★★ — Kathy , Jan 2023

Nice walk but no restrooms available. Always maintenance to be done, piles of branches to be removed. Trees & bushes to be trimmed.

★★★★☆ — Luana , Nov 2025

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
