Confirmed from Music Bend Nature Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Wooded 2.5-mi. walking trail passing by a creek where Elvis Presley reportedly swam as a boy.

What runners say about Music Bend Nature Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (46 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 7 mentions

“And its very clean and has water for the dogs when they get hot mice place”

🏃 great for running 3 mentions

“Great place to let your doggo run off some pent up energy, bring a ball or Frisbee.”

Nice walk on a mostly sandy trail. The trail distance is selectable. If your stopping to the the Elvis swimming hole and marker it would be best to park at the furthest south entrance near the auto shop as the trail is paved the entire way to the overlook with a ramp onto the platform.

Found a snake here one time while walking i threw some dirt on it and got out of there but overall a nice little walking trail.

Great little hiking trail. About 3.3 miles, fairly easy and enjoyable. Located within Tupelo’s Veterans Park. Also connects to the dog park and the aquatic center, which is convenient. Lots of trees and flowers along the way. If you’re lucky, you might see butterflies. Benches here and there to stop and rest.

A nice trail to spend some time on. Loads of small signs to learn what species of trees are on the path. There are a couple of spots that can be fairly wet...especially after a rain. Still, relaxing overall

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 16 mentions

“My dog loves playing here and ppl who come here with their dogs are nice to.”
