Confirmed from Tombigbee State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Gorgeous park, fantastic hikes, secluded and peaceful. We stayed in Cabin 2 which is the largest cabin, but if you have more than 2 adults, I would not recommend this cabin. The interior had recently been renovated and was very nice (granite counters, stainless steel appliances, etc..

We always love a quick and easy getaway to our favorite little State Park so close to home. If we forget something or need to run to work, we can get back to Tupelo in a few minutes.

Quiet place with some awesome views and hikes. We stay at a lot of Mississippi State Parks, and we really like this one. There are pros and cons of course. There are lots of great views. We loved the lake side hike. It was awesome. There are more hikes and trails that we did not explore.

the park itself Is beautiful, beautiful lakes for kayaking (they have rentals) or fishing, very small roads coming in to the park, no sign when you get close to the office to tell you stop and park in the overflow parking lot because if you go into the office area circle you won't get out unless you have a tiny RV,…

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 13 mentions

“The deck across the back has a good patio table and view of the water, fire pit and grill.”

  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
