Confirmed from Musketawa Trail,'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“Took a 13 mile bike ride trail is nice and clean with lots of interesting surrounding”

I just called and spoke with a guy from the DNR very nice guy, his name is Graham about the possibility of camping in a tent off the trails and he said as long as you are not on someone else's private property that you should be able to. And that if you get asked to go then just say ok and leave.

Well maintained. Trail is worn. Travel over large bridge in Ravenna, through blueberry and other crop fields. Also, through wooded areas. Trail is paved but rough on the east end due to age. Flat with no inclines. Several lunch sops along the way.

★★★★★ — Steve , Jun 2023

No traffic for miles, it may be a bit straight for much of it and a bit of a lumpy surface in places, but it’s also very flat and offers protection from the wind. Keep your eyes open for some wildlife it’s there if you look hard enough.

A nice bike path with a variety of things to look at. The bridge in Muskegon over black creek is fun to explore.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
