Confirmed from N.A.D. Marine Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Bayfront park featuring beach access, walking trails & wooded area with abandoned military bunkers.
What runners say about N.A.D. Marine Park
“We stopped for a small drive brake to stretch our legs and it is BEAUTIFUL.”
This is an awesome extension of NAD Park off Austin Dr. This marine park has a little beach access but the coolest thing is the trails that go up the hill. There are some really big trees that just amaze me at their size, and if you look closely you'll see some massive stumps from the days of the old growth forest…
Can't wait to have time to fully explore. We stopped for a small drive brake to stretch our legs and it is BEAUTIFUL. Nice path but where you park the stairs down to the water lead to a a big drop so we took a weird way to get down because we didn't have time to explore the path (I'm sure there are easier ways to…
I love this place it's super beautiful and secluded especially for downtown Bremerton it's a nice little getaway in a nice residential area and if you walk up the trailhead there is old bunkers that you can see. Many people don't know about the bunkers but they are super cool also a nice Beach to go to and free parking
The lower park has 2 parking lots one 6 car parking on one end and one whole street and loop on the other end. A great place to jog or ride your bike. Also the large playground at the far end has a nice large lawn that is well kept and great for picnicking.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
