Cute, quick little trail. I took my time looking at stuff and it took about an hour. would like to see more whimsical natural décor. Has a cool bridge and stream and a small bench on the trail you can sit and listen to birds. I would recommend bringing kids. this is a good stop to site see.
Please respect this trail it's a quiet area and should stay as such and that's Grandma's house she is sharing the true love of nature. All the things here are breathing and growing because of this love. Respect the rules and signs its protection to continue future hikes.
Big Tree Trail is a fairly easy hike through a wonderfully wooded forest. The scenery along the path was beautiful, and the Trail was well kept. It's short at only about 1.1 miles, making it ideal for a quick afternoon hike with the family!
It was the best walk I've done in Kitsap County this year. It's was so beautiful and peaceful! Great diversity of plants and the largest trees. Saw lots of salmon in Chico Creek.
