Confirmed from Nagasawa Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
33.7-acre green space with picnic tables, restrooms & trails, plus a boat ramp, fishing & benches.
What runners say about Nagasawa Park
“It’s not a strenuous trail, but it’s just enough to get moving while enjoying beautiful views.”
“There’s a serene lake with a boat ramp, where I’ve seen people kayaking, canoeing, and fishing, though I’ve never seen anyone swimming in it.”
Nagasawa Park is a lovely community park located in the Fountaingrove area of Santa Rosa. Often known as the more affluent part of the city. It’s easy to find at 1313 Fountaingrove Parkway. This park is perfect for hanging out, taking a leisurely walk, or bringing your dog for a quick stroll.
I like this place. It's kinda hidden off fountain Grove. Very peaceful. They have porta potty that are usually clean. I've never had an issue. Their is fishing and places to walk and explore. I enjoy coming to this peaceful park. Plenty of parking. Usually never crowded but I haven't come here on the weekend before.
It's a very beautiful park. Foliage and trees are coming back from after the fire. It's a peaceful walk and has lots of benches and areas to sit and take in the views ❤. Area where my son likes to look for crawfish and frogs. Enjoy!
The bass fishing is ok; i have not personally gotten any bites tibere, fishing from the shore using spinners, spoons, soft plastics, frogs, plugs, chatter baits, and jigs. It pretty, queen and well patrolled by the rangers. The last time i went there i found nine ticks crawling on me..in not exageratting.
