Confirmed from Natco Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Natco Park
Awesome wild park!! I can not believe people give the wild hiking park (no playground) type place a 1 STAR review because there were BUGS and ticks and dirt trials . Oh my God there are not signs on every tree to keep you from getting lost in a small wooded area!!? it's literally left alone for the reason to be.
Great young park for a fun hike. Be aware the maps are iffy and a few of the trails deadhead into neighborhoods. Depending on the season it can get squishy. But all in all, fun
Several miles of trails. Best in the fall and winter. Ticks are very bad from May to Sept. Good for walking and biking.
Nice, simple, kid-friendly hike. The signs truly are confusing as some are fallen and the colors don’t quite line up. Thankfully the maps app kept us on track. The tick part is true too- we left with tons even though we sprayed down with bug spray beforehand. But, it’s nature right?! To be expected?!

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
