Confirmed from Natural Lands' Peek Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wooded, 344-acre preserve with hiking trails and a boardwalk from which to view birds and wildlife.
What runners say about Natural Lands' Peek Preserve
“Considering that this little gem I'd hiding in millville and so unbelievably beautiful, I'll take it.”
“Well marked trails, great scenery.”
“I've gone through every other "nature trail" in millville to my knowledge and this one was very quiet, peaceful, and I didn't see a single other person out there!”
Stay on the trail / stone and you will be good. Beautiful lookout at the end of water and marsh. Cool birds and wildlife. Except the ticks. My wife went off trail and ended up with a bunch of small seed ticks. So stay on the stones and you will be fine like I was!
Not the easiest of trails but a beautiful place in the world. Dress appropriately during hunting seasons. Pack a bag of supplies and wear the right shoes and clothes.
Enjoyed my first visit. Well marked trails, great scenery. Nice spots.to stop and relax.
Beautiful property! There are a few hiking hiking trails of various lengths.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceBoardwalk — flat and scenic, and slick when wet, so watch your footing
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
