Confirmed from Niawanda Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Gorgeous view, lots of parking, right near Mississippi Muds and Old Man River, very clean, love the path for walking. It can get crowded but people don't seem to mind. There's enough space on the path for skaters and cyclists.

Nice place to go and relax. Everyone keeps to themselves and I've never had any issues. My cat loves the outside but has health issues so I bring her here since I can't let her out alone. Strangers will walk up and pet her, and everyone's friendly. DPW does a great job keeping the water and park looking beautiful!

Great park! Somewhat crowded when the weather is nice. Decent parking. The lots near Mississippi Mudds need repairs. Restrooms are open I believe from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Possibly Columbus Day. I'm not sure. Great place for a nice walk or to read a book.

My partner and I love this park! The biking path and walking path are spacious. There is plenty of free parking. Its a wonderful place to take an evening walk and watch the boats go by on the water. If you own small boat they do have a launch site.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
