Confirmed from Niles Staging Area | Alameda Creek's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Creek views and serene park featuring picnic tables, barbecue grills, a running and biking trail, and a train depot.

“This place is just so serene and there are trails to walk on and places to sit and enjoy the park.”
I used to come here when I was younger in my teens to think. So this time around I had about 30 min until my next delivery and I was in the area. This place is just so serene and there are trails to walk on and places to sit and enjoy the park.
One of my favorite trail for cycling and running. Entire strech of one side of the creek is tarred, so perfect for biking. Towards the one end of trail is Niles Canyon staging area. Take a look of pictures. This area always have water(atleast for last 10 years, since I visiting this place).
Amazing views, easy parking, start point for a trail, no restrooms, needs lil bit of cleaning
A quiet escape for those who love to walk or run. Since the rains the creek has pretty good level of water streaming through and adds to the cozy and peaceful ambience There are a few parking spots in this area (approx 10-12) but the place isn't that crowded so finding a spot usually is not an issue.
