Confirmed from Nob Hill Trail Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Steep park featuring slides (some say for adults) and workout stations, plus a trail running to the top of a hill for views.
What runners say about Nob Hill Trail Park
“Wonderful walk with my girls beautiful view of town and fun on the slides of course”
This park is good if you are looking to run or walk up a hill, since it has a great blocked to traffic paved street, on the north side, and a shorter but steeper compounded dirt trail, on the south side. It is ok for visiting with your kids, so they can do a few runs down the slides, but there isn't much repeat value.
Steep but easy hike. Amazing views from the top. Enter on the West 3rd side for a paved road. The Dunne side is slippery crushed gravel so be careful.
Strenuous but a little too short Great use of space, kudos for the city planners of Morgan Hill. Look closely you'll see the wild turkeys who came out for a stroll after we left.
Love this trail! The hills are a great work out and the view is amazing! Yes there are deer. This was a very creative way to utilize the area for all to use! Highly recommend it!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
