Nice place for a walk. Dogs allowed on leash. Some paved routes. Covered picnic area. A few benches along the trails. We have seen owls, rabbits, and squirrels. Restrooms with flush toilets in summer. Outhouse in winter. Free parking. Some trails and bridges flood seasonally.
Very nice urban park with northern and southern entrances. It is bisected by a creek that can flood the trail in the winter. It has paved, gravelled and bark chipped trails so there are all-weather options in the winter. There are several interesting trees in the park.
It felt like you were setting off into deep woods, even though you are surrounded by city. The pathways are wide and easy to follow. We came after the rain and the mud was so deep in spots it made it hard to walk but that makes it feel even more remote
This was such a fun park. We had a great time walking this trail. It was nice and shaded. We saw a family of ducks on the stream and truly enjoyed our walk. It was an easy walk very scenic and lots of friendly people on the walk.
