Confirmed from Norfolk Glen Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Norfolk Glen Park
“You can pull up in some shade.”
“It's tucked away in a quiet culdesac and even offers a trail for hiking.”
This is a really nice park!! It's tucked away in a quiet culdesac and even offers a trail for hiking. There are a few barbecue grills at the park located at the Gazebo so you can grill up some burgers and stay a little shaded from the sun, don't plan to go for hours as it does not have restroom facilities.
Our favorite park. We love to take our bikes on the bike trail to the park. The new playground is great, its never crowded. Benches to picnic. Would say its a kinda geared towards bigger kids cuz the jungle gym climbing obstacles are pretty advanced, definitely requires close adult supervision for smaller kids.
Our little girl loves this park. We take her there two or three times a week at least just a really neat place. You can pull up in some shade. Watch your kids play. There’s always some other kids there that are ready. Have as much fun as she is we love it here.
Xylophone . Two octaves and two mallets. Safe modern playscape for climbing and swinging. Adjacent to open space and highline canal trail.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, water — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
