We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Star K Ranch Wetland Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“A great half-mile wetland trail that is easily accessible for all ages.”

I love it at Star K Ranch. Great trails to hike through the beautiful prairie. Deer, Bald Eagles, Prairie Dogs, Coyote and other wildlife are often seen here. The Sandy creek path is a lovely walk along the creek. Maybe you'll see the beavers. You'll definitely see the logs they fell.

This is a beautiful place to escape for a few hours from the hustle bustle and nonsense of the city without having to drive for hours to get there. It’s very natural with the only improvements being some trails and some picnic tables. A very calm and serene place where us city dwellers can relax and be with nature.

Saw a pair of bald eagles and a coyote! The trails are perfectly groomed. The environmental center staff is very knowledgeable, warm, and helpful.

A great half-mile wetland trail that is easily accessible for all ages. My 4 and 1.5 year old love the wildlife and tress to climb on. Having the Morrison Nature Center with their friendly, knowledgeable staff right there is a huge plus.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
