Confirmed from North Creek Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Long, mostly paved multi-use trail through rural & urban scenery, from Bothell to Mill Creek.
What runners say about North Creek Trail
“That might not sound too appealing to true nature lovers, but they were not low income sleaze motels, they were clean, well kept and aesthetic.”
“Beautiful nature walk / hike and there were apartment buildings within site for most of the first 4-ish miles.”
“Every time I’ve walked this trail it’s quiet and peaceful.”
Awesome place for walking, bird watching , biking . There are few bald eagles nest there and lots of ducks . Also good place to take fall pictures and see stream of River from a walkway bridge .
Every time I’ve walked this trail it’s quiet and peaceful. We saw lots of wildlife like ducks, hawks, even an eagle! Parking is a little tricky, I don’t think there is any designated parking area so you may have to risk parking in a business lot after hours. My car hasn’t been towed yet, let’s hope it stays that way!
It’s a beautiful trail. Tough it’s a small but it’s fun to walk. The walking roads are paved which makes it easier even during rain
*My dog Sam and I started the trail in McCollum Park in the North* And we loved every minute of it. Beautiful nature walk / hike and there were apartment buildings within site for most of the first 4-ish miles.
Trail conditions & character
“Parking is a little sparse depending on where you enter at but the sound of the water is relaxing and there are a lot of waterfowl and snails and slugs to keep an eye out for.”
“We love meandering along this path and taking in all the sights of ducks and ducklings, many dogs being walked, and various birds looking for food.”
