2 entrances from the street but no parking where Google maps drops you to, unlike you might expect from a park. We parked next to the coffee shop on the corner and an entrance is just across the road from there. Beautiful place to explore the forest! Not a lot of incline so great for all levels of ability.
Its a great little trail to go for a walk on, I have been in there as a kid playing around. One of the old cars sitting back in there has been there since I can remember. Its been interesting to watch how it has changed over the years.
It's a nice, little forest hike that borders FEMA on one side, and neighborhoods on the other. Apparently managed by a small, volunteer-run non-profit. Paths, boardwalks, and rock cairns feature nicely. Mostly quiet, shaded, a bit buggy, but still a nice respite from the street.
Obsessed with this little trail! It is so peaceful and beautiful. So many little things that make it amazing! A wind phone for sending heaven messages, a tiny free library, the school is right next to it so when school is not in session there is the playground, rocks with labels of trees and plants, and three…
