We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of North Kingsville Sand Barrens yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about North Kingsville Sand Barrens
Great. Interesting walk with the grandkids. Lots of Butterflies and different trees and plants to look at and talk about.
Decent amount of trails, albeit the trails weren't maintained too well when I went. It can be hardish to find the sandy areas, but there are quite a few of you're willing to look around. Minimal parking, but seems like this place isn't used often.
I always love going here, the paths are beautiful and make you feel engulfed by nature!
