Confirmed from Lake Shore Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Beach and boat docks, plus a playground and swans dot this lakefront park.
What runners say about Lake Shore Park
“It was a clean park, had a play structure for children, and was beautiful.”
“Went there for the Ashtabula Rib burn off and it was small, quaint, great view while we were eating.”
Beautiful view of lake Erie. Plenty of pavilion seating, swing benches, or lake side on the beach. Lots of parking, a nice sized playground for the little ones. Or take a stroll around the park area and visit the duck ponds and the peacocks. Nice walking paths and frisbee golf.
We loved this park. We walk down to the little beach access. We found a whole clay wall in which my kids spent a lot of time making creations. And exploring through the rocks and trees along the shoreline. There's a picnic area lots of benches a bathroom great place for big family gatherings.
