Confirmed from Northshore Summit Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Northshore Summit Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (55 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

This park has been completely redone and should be open by mid May 2014. There is a new kids play area, walking path, improvements to the open lawn areas, woodland restoration, and plantings. The plan also includes park entry improvements, site furniture, and interpretative signage.

★★★★☆ — Carl , Apr 2014

The park is a peaceful neighborhood park. It has several areas of grass for play, trails to walk across the park and a modern playground that kids can enjoy. The playground has two swings, a spring rocking toy, and a climbing wall that leads to a nice slide about 9’ tall.

★★★★★ — Chris , May 2023

Idyllic & charming! What a way to describe a park, but that's what it brings to mind. Nice landscaping - flowering bushes, trees, and a little walking trail. It's what I picture the secret garden would look like - tucked away hidden from the folks too busy to slow down and enjoy the serenity it offers...

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 5 mentions

“It is a neighborhood park with only on-street parking, but it is a vast improvement over the soggy, dog poo filled, grass and black berry bush "park" it was before!”
