We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Northwest Greenway yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Northwest Greenway
I just discovered this gem! It is amazing! Be prepared for hills, descents, hidden summits, wetlands, parks, and even a bike repair station! The only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is that the easiest accesses appear to be in between residential homes and are not marked as public trail entrances.
Good trails for walking or biking with views of majestic nature or expensive houses with perfectly manicured lawns
Northwest Greenway is a park with marshes. Tall grass and cattails. Trails pass through for families, bicycles and walkers. It doesn't look like the metropolitan Plymouth. More like northern Minnesota, Greenway has 2 large restrooms and 2 unisex restrooms.
Beautiful path. You’ll pass marsh land, cool shaded woods and nice new neighborhoods. There are playgrounds and dog parks adjacent to the trail. Love the wooden bridges and natural setting. I saw these two deer on my last walk. They came right up to me.
