Confirmed from Elm Creek Woods Open Space's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Elm Creek Woods Open Space
A great chose your adventure minimally maintained trail. Did a trail run here and ran what I think the full perimeter is at 2.25 miles. There is a much smaller loop of about half a mile. The trail has no map or markers which can be intimidating. There was no restroom in the small parking lot.
Wonderful undeveloped area for walking/hiking. Trails are dirt but were level and kept clear of debris. There are no trail markers or map making this the perfect spot to just get lost and enjoy the beauty of the landscape. It is heavily wooded, primarily with Maple which made for a stunning fall hike.
