Confirmed from Nur Pon Open Space's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Nice off leash dog walking trail next to the river. Not fenced in so some dogs might need to stay leashed. Aprox 1 mile loop trail, gravel and dirt

A really nice dog park with almost a mile loop and some cool bridges! Awesome boaters access with parking for boaters only. Good spot to practice freestyle kayaking or to practice rolling in your kayak. I haven't fished here yet but I have seen a lot of fishermen so I'd imagine it must be a good spot to rip some lips.

Honestly, I didn't think this trail was going to be this cool. The main trail is really nice and pretty scenic, with a metal bird statue and a river running alongside it. There's even what looks like an old bridge structure, which adds to the scenery. It looks like the trail is still being worked on in some areas.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 43 mentions

“Very nice little off-leash dog park with many trails meandering through forest habitat right along the Sacramento River.”
